Evangelist Hilda Miller/Jones was born in New Orleans and raised in Braithwaite, Louisiana. She attended school in Phoenix, Louisiana. She later lived in New Orleans where she graduated from Grace King High. She attended Delgado Community College pursing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
In 1978, Evangelist Miller/Jones joined the House of Deliverance Church and participated in house-to- house services under the tutelage of the anointed Apostle Mary Trask. She later became a member of Philadelphia Apostolic Pentecostal Church under Bishop James E. Daniel There, she was assigned to the position of coordinator of the Prison Ministry. She commuted from Baton Rouge, and later, Zachary, Louisiana, ministering to inmates and their families.
She was licensed and ordained in March 2003 and later became founder of Faith Hope Love Ministries. She was called by God to preach and teach His word. In 2015 she was blessed with the ordination of Pastor of Faith Hope and Love by Apostle Ronnie Bailey of Rock of Ages Ministries, Intl.
She worked for Ochsner Hospital as a Lead Operator, transcriptionist, and various multiple administrational levels for 30 years.Hurricane Katrina forced her to relocate to College Station, Texas where she was trained for the duties of administrative secretary at Texas A&M University.After two years, she returned to New Orleans to become Administrated Secretary of Pastoral Care at Ochsner.
In 1998, Evangelist Miller/Jones, started visiting the State Police Barracks in Baton Rouge, attending church services and bible studies. Eventually, she was scheduled every other month (and still is) to minister and encourage inmates and their families. All done by emphasizing that, through Jesus Christ there is hope and more.
She has served audiences on different radio broadcasts and television. KKNO, WBOK, WVOG. On T.V.-Pray the Word, Say the Word Ministries, the late Dr. Josie Phillips, Dr. June Paul’s operation Outreach for Souls, Apostle Ronnie Bailey’s Rock of Ages Ministries, Intl.
Evangelist Miller/Jones has corresponded with inmates in various places in the state, and Texarkana, Texas, also Serenity House of New Orleans.
She is grateful to Almighty God for her zeal for the gospel.
