Bishop Washington was called by God to preach the Gospel of Christ in December of 1993. While serving out his military obligation in Honolulu, Hawaii Bishop Washington sought the face of God to seek direction for his calling. God led Bishop to receive counsel from his pastor, Rev. S. E. Amos. After several sessions, Bishop answered his call and faithfully served under Pastor Amos’ leadership for three years. After much prayer and meditation God moved Bishop Washington and his family to Lake Jackson, Texas. March 24, 1996, the Washington’s arrived in Lake Jackson, TX. On April 23, 1996 while attending a prayer meeting in the Home of Bessie M Flannel, God moved upon Bishop Washington to organize a Word of Faith Non-denominational Ministry. The Lake Jackson Worship Center Church, Inc was born.
The Church grew spiritually, administratively, financially and numerically. God expanded the Bishops capacity to minister across racial lines. In August of 2003 the Mayor of Freeport extended a Letter of Proclamation for the ministry’s outstanding work in Freeport. In June 2007 God gave Vision to change the churches name and structure to Kingdom Konnection Ministries, Inc to focus solely on outreach and ministering to those outside the walls of the church.
